The authentic jadeite gemstone necklaces featured are hand-cut and polished from rough jadeite slabs in the Motagua River valley of Guatemala.
The hand-cutting and polishing lapidary stonework is created through Wendy Carpenter's fair trade/skill-building mission project, "Creating Revenue through the Arts." A project to help the artisans and the community of San Juan Del Obispo, GT.
The featured jade necklace was created in her mission project to support the artisans of Guatemala! The jade necklace is 24" long with 74 hand-cut & polished barrels and saucer beads. It is accented with three coral beads and a sterling silver clasp.
